Data Collector Feature Comparison

In this comparison, we will look at the different data collection software that may be used with the Emlid Reach equipment.  

For users interested strictly with points, such as users collecting Ground Control Points, the free Emlid Flow Standard application is typically sufficient.  Though, if you need to localize to arbitrary coordinates before setting your control, you would need to move to FieldGenius or FieldGenius for Android in order to localize to the project.

For users who need to work with lines as well as points, such as mortgage surveys where structures need to be located with respect to property lines, Emlid Flow + Survey would be suitable.  

For users who need a typical data collector such as Land Surveyors, or for customers who need any of the features available, FieldGenius or FieldGenius for Android fills that need.  

If you need total station control as well, FieldGenius and FieldGenius for Android will work.  Robotic support is only available on the Windows version of FieldGenius.
