DJI Enterprise App Downloads

This video covers activating your DJI D-RTK 3 and configuring it for use as a Rover for collecting GCPs and ground checks for your drone mapping needs. Currently the necessary DJI Enterprise app is only compatible with Android 10 and newer devices. The DJI D-RTK 3 can also function as a base for a Matrice 4 or as a relay station to extend the range of another D-RTK 3 running as a base.

In this video I’ll give you a first look at the DJI D-RTK 3 and its abilities as a rover. Before first use, we need to activate the D-RTK 3. To do so we will need to install the latest version of DJI Assistant 2 on a PC. Then we will sign in, plug in, and activate the D-RTK 3. Once activated we can also update the firmware while we are still in DJI Assistant 2 and navigate on our phone or PC to download and install the DJI Enterprise app for our Android device for use with this unit.

A short press followed by a long press powers on the unit. Triple pressing the button on the D-RTK 3 will change the operating mode between base, rover, and relay modes indicated by the color of the M LED. In the DJI Enterprise app we will tap the Rover Station option in the top right corner and Connect Device. Once connected, tapping the device will allow us to put in our NTRIP credentials.

Now I will first save a coordinate system for quick access for all my future tasks by tapping Manage Coordinate System and Create. Then I can create a Custom Coordinate System or select a known one. I will name it accordingly and select the established system for NAD83(2011) Ohio North. With that saved, when I create a task, I can select Ohio North for my coordinate system. Name the task and select my coordinate format before getting started.

Now that I am in my task, I will level my rod on my first GCP. Adjust my point settings to make sure my pole height is correct. I can also choose if I want a check shot or control point, how long I want to average that point, and with the control point, how many times I want to restart.

Once your settings are correct Add Point will collect that coordinate. When you’re done collecting, tapping Complete in the top right corner will back you out to the previous menu where we can export our tasks. To do so tap the three dots, View Task Report, then Export. It will export a JSON and CSV file for use in DJI Terra.
