Emlid Troubleshooting Guide | Blank Status Screen / No FIX with Emlid RS2 or RS3 as a Network Rover
This article will walk through a troubleshooting process that will check the most common issues that arise when you are unable to get a fix solution with your Emlid RS2/RS2+/RS3 GPS network rover communicating over Bluetooth to receive NTRIP corrections.
A blank Status can appear when your receiver is paired in the Bluetooth settings of your data collection device. Open your Bluetooth Settings and tap on the information icon next to your connected receiver. Click Forget This Device. In Emlid Flow you should still see your Bluetooth connection. If you cannot see the connection and you are using an Android device, you will have to activate BLE. Now our Status screen has populated but we don’t have any corrections coming in. Since we are using the Bluetooth connection we will need to change our correction input to NTRIP over Bluetooth. Go into your device Wi-Fi settings and make sure that the receiver’s hotspot is not showing up as a known network. If it is, click Forget This Network. Check back in Emlid Flow, you should be receiving corrections.
E38 is now offering a VRS NTRIP Network that works with any receiver that can receive RTCM3 corretions including the Reach RS2+ and Reach RS3. Get in touch with us to find out if we have coverage in your area.
