NTRIP/RTK Network Access by State

Below is a list of RTK Networks available state-by-state.  In some cases we have included instructions on signing up and connecting to a particular network.  While there may be multiple GNSS networks in a state, we will only mention state run networks in cases where they are available.  Otherwise we'll either mention the RTK Premium network which covers nearly the entire USA.

RTK Premium Network - RTK Premium offers excellent accuracy in the areas it covers, and it is very widespread.  Check out the coverage map on the product page.  

SmartNet, SpiderNet and Trimble Pivot networks can connect to single base stations, or they can connect to a network or VRS mount point.  In that case multiple base stations are used and virtual base station sends corrections to your rover.  This can mitigate some errors caused with a long distance between the base and rover.  For instance if you are within a 5 mile radius of a base station, you likely will favor connecting to that base station, but as you move further away, a virtual base station will start to become more reliable. 

SmartNet also has a PPP tool which can work out better than OPUS because it uses more constellations.   

Alabama - AL CORS available for free, a SpiderNet network.

Alaska - Some coverage of the state by SmartNet.

Arizona - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Arkansas - ARDOT RTN available for free, a Pivot network.  

California - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Colorado - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Connecticut - ACORN available for free, a Pivot network.

Delaware - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

Florida - FPRN available for free, a SpiderNet network.

Georgia - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

Hawaii - RTK Premium

Idaho - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Illinois - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

Indiana - INDOT InCORS available for free, a Pivot network. 

Iowa - IaRTN available for free, a SpiderNet network.

Kansas - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Kentucky - KYCORS available for free, a Pivot network.

Louisiana - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

Maine - MaineDOT CORS available for free, a Pivot network.

Maryland - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

Massachusetts - MaCORS available for free, a SpiderNet network.  

Michigan - MDOT CORS available for free, a SpiderNet network.  

Minnesota - MnCORS available for free, a Pivot network. 

Mississippi - GCGC RTN available for free, a Pivot network.

Missouri - MoDOT available for free, a Pivot network.

Montana - MTSRN available for a fee, a Pivot network.  RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Nebraska - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Nevada - TURN GPS Network available for a fee, a Pivot network.  RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

New Hampshire - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

New Jersey - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

New Mexico - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

New York - NYSNet available for free, a SpiderNet network.  

North Carolina - NC RTN available for a fee, a Pivot network.

North Dakota - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Ohio - ODOT VRS available for free, a Pivot network. 

Oklahoma - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Oregon - ORGN available for free, a SpiderNet network.

Pennsylvania - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Rhode Island - MaCORS available for free, a SpiderNet network.

South Carolina - SCRTN available for a fee, a Pivot network.  RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

South Dakota - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Tennessee - TDOT GNSS Reference Network available for a fee.  RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Texas - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Utah - TURN GPS for a fee.  RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

Vermont -  VECTOR available for free, a Pivot network.  

Virginia - RTK Premium covers the entire state.

Washington - WSRN avialable, a Pivot network.  RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.

West Virginia - WVRTN available for free, a Pivot network.

Wisconsin - WISCORS available for free, a SpiderNet network.

Wyoming - RTK Premium has strong coverage in many areas, but does not totally cover the entire state.
