Transferring Raw Data Logs Directly to your Computer
Below is a tutorial on transferring files from your Emlid Reach RS2+ or Emlid RS3 directly to your computer, current as of October 12, 2023, FW 31.6. As an alternative to transferring logs via email or uploading to a server, you may transfer logs such as RINEX or UBX directly to your computer since all your survey data is in sync with Emlid Flow 360. These logs may be used for PPK or PPP (OPUS).
First you need to connect your computer to the receiver’s WiFi network. If you are using Windows, you most likely will have to select Connect and then use a security key; the default password is ‘emlidreach’. Once connected, open a web browser and search for the IP address of the receiver or the name of your receiver followed by ‘.local’. This will bring up the Reach panel. Select Logging, find the data you are looking for, and click the download icon. Decompress your zip file by right-clicking then selecting Extract Here to get your data log files.
You have now downloaded logs from your RS2+ directly to your computer.
