Drone Image PPK in Emlid Studio

< All Videos

Here is a quick tutorial on improving the accuracy of your DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise data through post processing in Emlid Studio. To process our images, we need our mission folder from our Mavic 3 and our ubx file from our RS2 base. Once we have Emlid Studio open we’ll select Drone-data from the drop-down menu. I’m going to start by dragging my base’s ubx file into the Base section of the Processing menu. I’ll also add my pole height to the file and if you have an OPUS solution for your base point you can manually enter it to further improve your accuracy.  If you need any help getting to this point, click here for assistance with OPUS processing or downloading logs to your computer. Now I will open my Mavic 3’s mission folder and drag the obs file to the Drone section of the Processing menu. Then I drag the nav file into the Navigation section as well as the mrk file to its place. Click Process and we will have our corrected locations. The last step here is to add our Photos folder to apply the new locations data to them. Now we have a folder with our newly tagged images improving the accuracy for our orthomosaic.
