Merging LiDAR Point Clouds in Lixel Studio

This video will show you how quickly and easily you can merge LAS point clouds in XGRIDS Lixel Studio. The point clouds used in this video were collected by an XGRIDS L2 Pro and a DJI Zenmuse L2. Each point cloud was processed and clipped prior to merging for a clean final product. 

In this video I’ll demonstrate merging point clouds in Lixel Studio. First, I’ll import the LAS of the point clouds I will be merging then I’ll highlight them in the data management window. With the point cloud selected you can right click and select Merge from the context menu or select Merge from the tools banner. We then can select the data we want to merge and what version of LAS to save it as, as well as the file path to the merged point cloud. Click OK and after a minute or so we will have our merged point cloud.
