<All Videos

This video walks through operating your DJI D-RTK 3 as a base station for your DJI drone. Legacy drones that can utilize the multi station as a traditional base include: the DJI Matrice 3D/3TD, Matrice 300/350 RTK, Matrice 30 Series, Mavic 3 Enterprise Series, T60, T50/T25, T40/T20P, FlyCart 30, and Inspire 3.

In this video we will demonstrate how to use the D-RTK 3 as a base for your DJI drone. After activating your D-RTK 3 in DJI Assistant 2, power it up and toggle to the base station mode by triple tapping the button until the M LED displays in green. Then if you haven’t already, set up your DJI drone. In this demonstration we are using a Matrice 300Legacy drones are compatible with the D-RTK 3 as a traditional base. The Matrice 4 series and subsequent drones using O4 Enterprise video transmission can utilize the relay mode to extend the range of your drone from your controller up to 25 km

Now that our drone is powered on and ready in the DJI Pilot 2 app, we will navigate to the camera view and then our RTK settings. Then select the Mobile Station and reboot if necessary. Tap Status, then select the RTK 3. In this demonstration we already have a fix. We can scroll down to the bottom of this menu to see our base’s battery information or to access the Advanced Settings. The default password for Advanced Settings is 123456. From here we can rename the base station. If we tap Adjust Coordinates, we can fine tune our base point if we have a known coordinate as well as save this coordinate as a Frequent Coordinate to import quickly on return to this site.

With our aircraft in an RTK fix from the base, we are ready to fly.
